While in previous years I’ve made it my goal to get fall down drunk by the strike of midnight, this year the wife and I spent a quiet night together playing cards with nary an alcoholic beverage in sight. Con season really took a toll on me last year, and couldn’t even stomach the idea of partying hard. What can I say, I’m getting old.

Anyway, to all the aging soldiers out there, I salute you and hope you all had a sexy & safe sprint into 2009. Hopefully that 48 year-old at the end of the bar didn’t look too busted in the morning. And if she did, well, put her on the New Years Resolution List.

Now for a little Space-Time Condo update. We’re all set to launch the webstrip next week with “Griff Goes on a Date” part 1 of 7, and we’re already getting some lovin’ on the magical internets. Barry Nugent of the insanely funny and informative podcast Geek Syndicate gave STC a shout out in the Comic News section of their site. Check it out here, and be sure to give them a listen. I listen to a LOT of popculture podcasts, and theirs is really one of the best around!
