Episode 2: Griff Goes On A Date (2 of 7)
STC: Humble Beginnings pt. 2
After months of pitching his three-word title to anyone who might listen, Patrick MacBlain finally found an ear to bend in a coffee shop in Mississauga, just outside of Toronto. The ear in question belonged to unfortunately named Milton “Milt” Bradley, a public access production assistant with delusions of grandeur.
After hours of brainstorming, Milt and Patrick came up with the general concept for Space-Time Condominium– an ambitious sci-fi comedy about Griff Griffins, a failed stand up comic who agrees to live in a rental with versions of himself from parallel Earths. Being huge fans of American comic books, the duo decided to set the story in 1985 as a homage to DC’s Crisis on Infinite Earths. Ideas flowed like wine (or chai lattes at the very least) in those early discussions, and the pair laid the foundation to take Canadian television by storm.
Not three years later, Patrick MacBlain and Milton Bradley would part ways in a bitter rivalry that would become the stuff of legend.

Hi there, followed your ad on our comic (Cosmic Hellcat Adventures) to here. Great start. I’ve enjoyed it so far. Let me know if you’d ever be interested in trading links or guest strips. I look forward to seeing where you go with this.

Consider yourself linked, Mav! And thanks for checking out the strip. We’re in the slow start, but the series is really going to pick up soon.
Unfortunately, I can’t commit to any guest strips right now– I’m working on a ton of stuff, but I may be able to squeeze in some fan art down the road!
Thanks again,
Dave
