Episode 8: Griffin Kills the Party (6 of 7)
Dead Man’s Party
When the screen counts down to ‘PLAY!’ hit the button!
When Zombies Attack! Pt. 4
Adding to the episodes already ridiculous budgetary issues was the use of Oingo Boingo’s Dead Man’s Party. Milton Bradley explains:
“I knew it was the perfect song for the episode, but as you know, Danny (Elfman) was very particular about the projects that he wanted to be attached to. He had already had a slew of hits under his belt, from the Simpsons to Edward Scissorhands to Batman… not to mention Back to School and Weird Science. We knew it was going to take a miracle to get him to sign off on Space-Time Condominium.
We flew Danny in to the studio and sweet talked the pants off of him. Literally. If we weren’t already over budget, the weekend with Danny Elfman put us well over the top.”

Just read it all tonight, I am a fan man, very cool idea. Great title, but you’ve managed to add so much to it. I am really impressed, and it’s nice to find a little webcomic out there that you respect and like.
Cheers!

I love the idea that nerd Griffin just happens to have a battle axe handy…I need one of those.

Nerdy Griffin has a stockpile of weapons. You’ll see why in the next episode!
