It was around this time that Scott Coles returned to the studio to find his show over budget and at war with the CRTC.

“I couldn’t fucking believe what was going on,” Scott explains. “I left these two fully grown babies to steer the ship and they let her drift into a goddamn iceberg! Ratings aside– we were mid season, and our entire budget was blown!”

With Scott back in control, the infighting increased. Milton Bradley and Patrick MacBlain were more than willing to throw each other under the bus.

“As God as my witness, I knew that a reckoning was at hand. Milt had dug a very deep hole… a hole I knew he didn’t have a chance of climbing out of. Right or wrong—I knew which side was going to win the fight. I went straight to Scott about Milton’s decision to add Rebecca Beauvine to the cast,” a slightly inebriated MacBlain explained at the 2007 San Diego Comic Con bar.
