STC: Television on Steroids

Scott Coles had had enough of Space-Time Condominium. While he was scouting locations for the season finale, Bradley and MacBlain let the show bloat dangerously overbudget, and their notorious feud broke the proverbial camel’s back.

Scott Coles was ready to walk away from the project.

As executive producer of STC and head of CHCH-TV, Scott played the one card he had—he moved the popular show to the 11PM timeslot on Saturday nights, a no man’s land for traditional television series. Strangely, the move wasn’t the death knell of the show, as ratings actually increased. Scott Coles had forgotten that his key demographic (Males, 12-24) were actually tuning to the popular WWF repackaged Maple Leaf Wrestling. This new timeslot put STC on right after the popular professional wrestling program, and worked to expose STC to a much larger audience.
