STC Changes Gears

With the exit of Jordan from the regular cast, the staff scrambled to finish Episode 9, piecing together a musical montage featuring the Klymaxx hit, “I miss you.” Unfortunately, the rights to the song were never released, and CHCH TV 11 was staring down the barrel of a Klymaxx lawsuit after the episode aired.

While the case was settled out of court for an undisclosed sum of money, subsequent airings of the episode were edited to omit the song and scene.

This would not be the last case of copyright infringement brought against Space-Time Condominium as Fox TV brought its considerable might to bear on the small Canadian show.
