Since STC has been on hiatus, I’ve been gearing up for my first convention of the season: Super Show in Reading, PA! Organized by the guys from the Comic Geek Speak podcast, the Super Show is like a family reunion of sorts. My inspiration to podcast (as one-fifth of the ever lovin’ Geek Savants) came partly from my friendship with the CGS guys, and I can’t wait to get back to Reading!
Anywho, I’ve been swamped with commission requests and thought I’d post some of them here… maybe one every couple of days or so. Here’s Brock:
Here’s one I did for my podcasting “archnemesis” Royal Lantern. He’s a big fan of The Geek Savants and Green Lantern, and an even bigger fan of giving me shit! He also loves 80’s cartoons and has his own podcast, StarJoes.
This one is for Jason Grice, program director of The Lanterncast, the foremost podcast dedicated to all things Green Lantern. Jason is like a tall, good looking version of me, and his friends always call him and his wife “Beauty and the Beast.” Yep, I research my shit before I put pen to paper. Hence the commission:
