STC returns NEXT WEEK! Help spread the word!

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

I have a big favor to ask.

With STC Season Two beginning next week, I’m hoping that you’ll help spread the word and get people into the comic. I threw this trailer together in hopes that you could post it on your website, blog or any forums that you visit. And tell your friends!

Thanks all,

Dave

Celebrate Easter Weekend @Wondercon!

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

If you’re in the SF Bay Area, come to Wondercon! I’ll be sharing tables in Artist Alley (AA64-65) with fellow Geek Savant Super Ugly, and our friend Justin Greenwood (ONI’s Resurrection) this weekend. Come by, say hello and get a sketch from one or all of us!

My full color commissions (like the ones below) are only $30! I’ll also have copies of the BITD preview, SRG Presents: Gnome, and Special Ed Vol. 1.

See you there!

Thanks Wondercon and Super Show!

Monday, April 5th, 2010

Back to back cons nearly broke me, but I’m already missing the my artist alley tables. Thanks to everyone who liked my stuff enough to get a sketch, and all of The Geek Savants listeners that dropped by to chat. Because of you I’m feeling more inspired than I have in years.

See you Wednesday!

Check out Comixtalk.com!

Thanks to Xavier over at comixtalk.com for giving STC a shout out. While my little comic didn’t bowl him over, he did have some very positive things to say about the series.

Hey, Subculture fans…

Monday, April 26th, 2010

… thanks for dropping by! My first guest page hasn’t been up for very long and I’m already seeing hits from the Subculture site. If you’re visiting STC for the first time, I recommend reading STC from the very beginning. My favorite sitcoms have jokes wove throughout episodes, and I’m trying very hard to emulate shows like Arrested Development, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Herman’s Head. Reading a current page may be a little jarring, but  you’ll probably dig Space-Time Condo if you go back to the start…

I also want to thank Kevin and Stan for letting me step in to help keep them on schedule. I’ve been a friend and fan of theirs for a while, and I’m honored that they’ve let me play in their sandbox again. Stan is an incredible artist, and while I would never try to replace him, I hope that he enjoys what I’m doing as much as I am. His characters are a joy to draw, and I’m having the time of my life putting my spin on them!

And for you non-Subculturalists– click the link above already!

Cheers,

Dave
