It’s been a few days since I’ve posted, but I wanted to let you all know that things are going well. I’ve finally settled into my new place and have been hard at work on Back in the Day. I finally finished greytoning the book, and I’m hard at work on the lettering. Revisiting the project as the letterer has been a lot of fun– some of the dialogue has me laughing out loud, and the story has a lot of heart. I really wish I wasn’t such a talky bastard in it, though. Trying to fit all that dialogue on the page is a challenge!

I’m also coloring a new project for a new, top secret comics company. I can’t really write more about it, though I’d love to. I’ll just hint that someone you know… maybe someone involved with STC (wink wink) is their new creative director. The creative team is top notch, and I have no doubt that this flagship title will knock you on your ass. Look for an official announcement soon…
