Things are going at a really decent clip. 2 pages penciled and inked in 2 days. I’m going to change my approach to STC. Rather than try to take one page from script, art, color and lettering, I’m going to pencil and ink as many pages as possible before taking one day to color and letter the week’s page. If I can keep the momentum flowing I’ll be way ahead of schedule. Cross your fingers!

Also, it’s high time I announced my next mini-series… Double Jumpers! It’s a fun geek/videogame action adventure written by me with astounding art by Bill Blankenship! It’ll be available for pre-order in March, and will be in stores this May.

Anywho, the Space-Time Cond tradepaperback is in Diamond’s Previews this month (Order Code DEC110770). I had sketched out a few of the main characters, and Kevin had even scripted several strips.

Then I got busy.

So like most projects I’m involved with, it got pushed to the backburner. Luckily, my Geek Savants co-host Super Ugly’s first born baby Bigby was celebrating his first birthday, and I was able to dust off my original pencil designs for Wolfie and Baby Jay. I tweaked my Wolfie sketch to look like Bigby, and after a little ink and color, Bigby had two new shirts to wear!

Eventually I’ll get back to Terror Tots. Kevin and I have been friends for years, and I can’t imagine letting this sit for too much longer.  Maybe Terror Tots will see the light of day after STC wraps next year…

With the end of the second season of STC, CHCH-TV11 in Canada has commissioned the cast and crew to return for three made for TV movies that will see the conclusion the Space-Time Condo storyline. Jonathan Debreau and his brothers are set to reprise their roles as the Griffins. Along with the reunited cast, the original STC creators Patrick MacBlain and Milt Bradley will return as executive producers, with Dave Dwonch set to direct all three films.

The first movie, STC Origin, will take viewers back before the events of the TV show, and will reveal the tragic beginnings of the Assassin Griffin, and will not so subtly hint at the origin of the true villain of the STC TV series.  Patrick MacBlain explains:

“We always intended for the series to be a dark drama. Dave (Dwonch) really took our notes and did right by them with Season Two. It’s really because of his work on the webcomic that we’ve been asked to come back and do it as we intended—on the small screen. Thank Christ that fucker (ex-CHCH TV Executive) Scott Coles isn’t involved. Don’t worry—there will be some fun stuff, but it’s time to tell our story.”

Spacetimecondo.com will also be covering the filming of the movies, so expect weekly updates and behind the scenes photos when the movies air.

The film series is set to debut alongside the Maple Leaf Blue-Ray™ Edition of STC Season One in February 2012. Be sure to order your copy in December, and get ready for the Griffins to rule your worlds in February!
