Check out my Pulp Girls art cards at 5finity!

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

I’ve never been big on sketchcards, but when my Gnome publisher and partner in crime, Jason Martin, called to ask me to pitch in for his Pulp Girls set with 5finity, I couldn’t resist. I’m not quite what the street date is, but the cards are popping up on ebay:

So I’m assuming they have hit the shelves.

Anywho have fun tracking these down. If I was allowed I’d post some of my favorites, but contracts dictate that I keep the images under wraps. When I get my percentage of cards back I’ll post them here… and on ebay.

Talk at you soon,

Dave

…and back to reality.

Comic-Con was, as always, a great time. I just wanted to thank my friends and collaborators for making this one memorable. My roommates at the Real World Comic-Con: Super Ugly, Kellie Sue, Daniel Logan, Ronzorb, Tami and Jason Martin, and Dan Mendoza– you guys were all hilarious, and made the living situation fun.

All the fans, old and new– thanks for coming by the Action Lab table and supporting me and the company. You guys always invigorate me, and whenever I question why I do what I do, I only need remember weeks like this. Thank you so much.

Trickster– even more fun and inspiring than the actual convention. Hopefully this will be an annual event. Good to be able to chat with peers over good beer and better art. So inspiring.

Anywho, I don’t mean to gush, this week was just overwhelmingly positive. I even have a new project in the works that was conceived at the show. More on that soon. I’ll leave you with this photo, and let you guess as to what I did to that bust after the picture was taken.

Cheers,

Dave
